The Application process

After you send in your application, we will review it immediately, and contact all successful candidates. After an initial group interview, we schedule private interviews with candidates who will fit with English Garden. At the private interview, we give potential new teachers a taste of what teaching at English Garden is like. You will have the opportunity to see the different courses we offer, and to meet your future co-workers. We may even ask you to join in on our lessons to make sure that our students feel comfortable with you. An experienced teacher will always be in charge of the class, so you can just relax and enjoy interacting with our students. After passing this stage, we sign and begin a probation contract that usually lasts for around 1 month. During this period, you will move from simply being present during lessons, to teaching a lesson by yourself while an experienced teacher waits nearby to help you should any trouble arise.

You’ve finished the probation period. Your lessons are engaging, fun, and the students look forward to each class. It’s time to sign a longer term contract. Most contracts last for 1 year, but we are always open to extending contracts for teachers who can maintain or improve their lessons!
